[Also possessed by the spirit of Hyt, Kairi's sitting at the lake next to the raft she, Sora, and Riku had made the past week. Her wings have also grown larger but the light she's producing is bright and radiant, practically blinding. However, she almost appears to be lifeless, sitting propped up against the sail of the raft and just staring quietly straight ahead.]

[Everything's resourceful in Luceti. So Kairi's gonna continue scrawling on the sail with her neat handwriting]

I didn't even think about it until now. Sora, why aren't you affected?

[ juuuust going to grin at your apparent plight, Kairi. But really he's just staring at that pen of yours, and a moment later he takes it into his own custody, and starts drawing on the sail. Oh, and look. It's a poorly done skull and crossbones. Sorry, Sora pretty much has a one-track mind. ]

[ Aw, man. Why'd you have to take the pen? He stops to rub the back of his head where she made impact. Girls. ]

...[just laughs a little bit and adds onto Sora's skull and crossbones, adding an eyepatch]

[ He tilts his head at the picture studying it for a short moment before retaking the pen, thanks. And quickly sketches a Keyblade next to the skull, it isn't theme related, but hey, he thought it needed one. ]

[takes the pen back and adds pretty flowers to the Keyblade...so now it looks like hers pff. Ha. Ha. Ha. Take that, Sora.]

[ is going to make a face at that Kairi, I mean ewww, why so girly. Those flowers of yours have turned into fire-spitting plants of doom, by the time Sora's finished. Needless to say, he looks pretty pleased with himself. Twirling the pen with his fingers. ]

...[lol what Sora. What. Kairi just shakes her head and takes the pen back to write] This reminds me of when we were little, remember? Back home in the secret place.

[ and Sora just leans back on his hands thinking, looking out at the water. ]

[looks at the water as well, remaining still for a few moments before writing again] Sometimes he's asked me.

[ his eyes flicker away from the water to study her writing for a short moment. ]

What did you say?

I answered some things, but mostly I said he didn't need to worry about it. I know he'd probably get mad if he found out what we were keeping from him but I don't want him to know.

[ a beat then quietly ]

[in smaller writing] Are you worried about him?

Yes.

[ and his eyes lower to the foundation of the raft they've built together, idly tracing the seams of the logs. He is definitely worried. ]

[more silence as she looks at the lake, thinking this whole thing over for a bit] Me too. I know that Axel and Xigbar have talked to him...as well as his Replica.

[ for the first time during this whole conversation he sounds his age, and for the short moment his eyes flicker back toward Kairi he just looks old. ]

He shouldn't have to feel guilty for something he hasn't done.

[She definitely notices this and she almost flinches at that look. That look shouldn't belong on someone, a kid like Sora. Both of those boys shouldn't have to deal with any of what had happened. She had been kidnapped a lot and put in danger a few times, sure, but it was nothing compared to them. It wasn't fair.]

[ He doesn't mean to make Kairi worry, that's definitely not something he wants. And he moves to gently take the pen from her grasp. Then he's drawing again this time putting his best efforts into it. It reveals itself as caricature of their Island with three figures drawn onto it. And he gives Kairi a slow smile. ]
