Forty-First Shower - [Action and Unintentional Voice, Backdated to 7/12]
[It was quiet in the area around KH house. Everyone in the house was sound asleep, or at least pretending to sleep. Kairi herself was in that same boat of being asleep when a high pitch scream suddenly awakens her. She bolts up into bed, glancing around her room and out her window. She pauses, reflecting briefly as she tries to think of what could have possibly caused such a sound. Was it a dream? It must have been.
...still. She quietly slips out of her bed, opening her bedroom door and stepping into the hallway. As she makes her rounds, silently checking on each of the boys first, she soon approaches Xion's room.
Of course, the fact that the girl isn't in her room when Kairi opens the door raises a few alarms.
Okay. Okay, don't panic. Kairi was aware that Xion sometimes would leave the house if she felt uncomfortable. That was normal, sure. But this...she couldn't get that scream out of her mind. Another wave of uncertainty crashes over her as she slips on a pair of shoes, grabs her journal and heads for the front door, stepping out of the house and looking toward the road.
It's then that she spots her; her likeness, her friend, covered in injuries, blood and...burns? Not a time to question. She bolts down the porch of the house, throwing herself down and checking the girl for consciousness. She attempts to shift the girl's body, ignoring the blood that was starting to stain her hands in favor of whether Xion held any signs of life. Realizing that the dark-haired girl wasn't responding, she whips out the journal immediately and flips to a new page without thinking.]
Axel! Come on, wake up! I really need your help out here...it's Xion. She's...it's bad. There's so much...it's too much. I know you're not really asleep, I checked. Hurry!
[And while she waits for Axel, she keeps an eye on Xion for any signs of movement, completely oblivious to the fact that she forgot to filter that message to only Axel.]
[[ooc: Action threads will be responded by Kairi, all voice will be responded by Roxas unless someone specifically spoke to Kairi.]]

[action]
Think you can carry her through that corridor of yours? She needs to get to the clinic, the one at the dome. I can't do it alone.
[action]
He stands with Xion and opens a dark corridor, waiting for Kairi to go first if she wants to come along.]
[action]
[action]
Roxas asked me to help. I'm a healer. [and once again the name part gets shuffled out of line, for later. She's more worried about the state of the girl they're carrying, even from here it looks-
The best decision is to take them to the nearest possible place where they can put Xion down, that isn't the floor.]
[action]
[action]
How fast can you heal her? It's a lot of blood loss and burns from the looks of it.
[action]
[Whether she means to or not, it sounds like she might be trying to ready herself as much as anyone to believe in that. But she can, power limits or no. The bleeding and any internal injuries will have to come first, and then the burns. She feels sick to her stomach even looking at burns like that.
If either Axel or Kairi is spiritually inclined, they might be able to see, faintly, the blue aura that springs up around her as she starts to work, and they should notice anyway the fountain of brighter blue sparks that is Fizz, being unleashed to help her.
Otherwise, they will see nothing at all, other than the small changes that would come over Xion while she worked - the bleeding slowing to a stop, and the burns beginning to fade. Ply and its variants are purifying spells, too, so at least there shouldn't be a risk of those burns getting infected.
Unless one of them interrupts her, Mia will work steadily and quietly until she feels she must take a break, if only to gather herself and start again. Some things will need to be dealt with physically before they can be healed.]
[action]
He's going to have to try and find Roxas soon. Later, though, after he knows if Xion will be all right or not. He lets Mia work quietly for a while before finally speaking up.]
She going to make it?
[action]
I hope so...now that the bleeding's stopped it should be easier to stabilize her right?
[action]
It should be. [A pause, as she examines the worst of the burns that remain] But these injuries are quite a strain on her. I don't want to tax her even further by trying to heal everything completely.
[bearing in mind, too, that the limits of Luceti might not allow her to do that in the first place. She just hates to have to choose to leave a person in pain. One look at Kairi, at how obvious is it that she had been crying, and Mia reaches over to pat her gently on the arm]
There's still a lot of work to do, but if we have any say in it she'll be just fine. She's lucky - there didn't seem to be much internal damage, other than cracked ribs. [It goes without saying that Xion is lucky for other reasons, too.] While I see to those, will you find bandages and things we can use?
[action]
He's not the type to give any sort of thanks to anyone, but he does give Mia a quick appreciative look before turning away again. He folds his arms over his chest and bites on the corner of one of his thumbs, pretty much leaving Kairi to the task of gathering things unless she asks for his help. She's always better at handling these types of things anyway.]
[action]
[action]
Once that's done, she'll go back to those burns. The amount of concentration it takes to go slowly and focus on strong healing is more tiring than she'd care to admit, and enough to let her know that she won't be healing the burns fully, either. Less severe - more on the side of red and blistered instead of charred - will have to be enough. Hopefully when she finishes that, Kairi has found some supplies.
But it's Axel she looks at. She caught that look from him before, and it's clear he's uncomfortable here. ...Hm.]
How did you get here so quickly?
[action]
There's a pause before he answers, shrugging his shoulders slightly before turning around. It's easier to put on his facade and act right now.]
Something like teleporting! Just with darkness. It's this nifty little trick a few people from my world can do.
[action]
Do you think these bandages will be big enough?
[action]
[If she knew what Axel was thinking, she'd be able to reassure him that Xion didn't need to fight nearly as hard now as she had been. Taking the supplies from Kairi, she makes a puzzled face at the burn cream for a moment or two until she's sure of what it's for.]
I'll need something for her wrist, too. [something to splint it with, at least for now. Mia gets up, going to the sink in the corner of the room to wash her hands before she starts fiddling with burns. Giving Kairi something to do seems to have helped.]
