Forty-First Shower - [Action and Unintentional Voice, Backdated to 7/12]

[It was quiet in the area around KH house. Everyone in the house was sound asleep, or at least pretending to sleep. Kairi herself was in that same boat of being asleep when a high pitch scream suddenly awakens her. She bolts up into bed, glancing around her room and out her window. She pauses, reflecting briefly as she tries to think of what could have possibly caused such a sound. Was it a dream? It must have been.

...still. She quietly slips out of her bed, opening her bedroom door and stepping into the hallway. As she makes her rounds, silently checking on each of the boys first, she soon approaches Xion's room.

Of course, the fact that the girl isn't in her room when Kairi opens the door raises a few alarms.

Okay. Okay, don't panic. Kairi was aware that Xion sometimes would leave the house if she felt uncomfortable. That was normal, sure. But this...she couldn't get that scream out of her mind. Another wave of uncertainty crashes over her as she slips on a pair of shoes, grabs her journal and heads for the front door, stepping out of the house and looking toward the road.

It's then that she spots her; her likeness, her friend, covered in injuries, blood and...burns? Not a time to question. She bolts down the porch of the house, throwing herself down and checking the girl for consciousness. She attempts to shift the girl's body, ignoring the blood that was starting to stain her hands in favor of whether Xion held any signs of life. Realizing that the dark-haired girl wasn't responding, she whips out the journal immediately and flips to a new page without thinking.]

Axel! Come on, wake up! I really need your help out here...it's Xion. She's...it's bad. There's so much...it's too much. I know you're not really asleep, I checked. Hurry!

[And while she waits for Axel, she keeps an eye on Xion for any signs of movement, completely oblivious to the fact that she forgot to filter that message to only Axel.]

[It's late, but Ven loves to look up at the stars, meaning he's been awake this whole time. Thus, Kairi's message rings loud and clear.]

Xion? What happened to her?

[Oh man, now he's super worried. Aaaugh.]

[He heard the scream, he heard Kairi's message. Even if it's late, and even if he was sleeping, Riku's not about to sit back and do nothing.

So, before long, Kairi should hear foot steps from behind-- hurried steps. It's only when he reaches Kairi and Xion that he slows, and immediately glares at the unfortunate scene.]

What happened?

[His own reply probably comes later, after everything's been taken care of. But he can't help feeling a nervous wad in his chest when he hears that message from the journal, something that both makes him press his hand against it in confusion and frown down at the journal.]

What about Xion? What happened to her?

[She doesn't know either person, but she can't ignore someone saying things like that.]

What happened? Do you need help?

[For once, it is probably a good thing that Richard is an insomniac, because he's wide awake when this comes over the journals.]

Is she injured? Where are you?

...it's the pain killers. It has to be. He has to be dreaming this. Xion is all right. She's fine.

She has to be.]

[And while everyone else worries about Xion...]

Kairi? What happened?

[Axel was indeed just pretending to be asleep when Kairi made her rounds moments ago. His journal was open on the nightstand next to him, so when he hears her frantic voice come over the network he jerks up in bed.

...Something happened. To Xion.

Axel quickly pulls himself out of bed, not even caring he isn't wearing shoes and is only in the clothes he sleeps in. He darts out of the house and outside, hurrying over once he spots Kairi there kneeling down next to Xion.

There's... blood. Lots of it. Axel kneels down next to Kairi and checks to see if Xion is still breathing. It's a little bit of relief that she is. His brow furrows as he does a quick once-over of her injuries, making a quiet noise once he sees just how bad it is. She needs help and she needs it now. When Axel speaks up his voice is low and mostly just a mumble.]

She's probably not going to be able to hang on much longer.

[--Wait. Wait, wait, wait. What's going on? She was just talking to Xion yesterday.

Ignoring her own personal fears for now, Noel speaks up.]

W-What happened to Xion?

What happened? Will she be alright? Do you need more help?

[ a certain werewolf is out and about when he catches the broadcast -- ]

What happened?!

K...Kairi? Xion, what happened to Xion? Do you need a healer? [Her voice is muddled, extremely confused. Late night is not her finest hour.]
