Twenty-Eighth Shower-[Action for Sora/Riku, Voice/Written/whatever for everybody else]

[Kairi, being the ~~Disney princess~~ sweet girl that she is, has woken up early around the crack of dawn Valentine's Day morning and gone out delivering little bags of cookies to the houses/businesses of people she knows well, and hell, maybe just even a few random people to make their day a little happier. Once she returns to her apartment, she first sneaks into Riku's room to drop off his present which consists of an even bigger bag of cookies and a small box of chocolates, along with a small new training sword.

After that, though, she has a new mission and she sneaks out of Riku's room and into Sora's. And why is she choosing to slip into Sora's bed and curl up next to him? Because a.) it's windy and cold outside this morning and b.) his reaction's probably going to be the best present she could get in the day.

Any replies, well, she'll get to those a little later in the day.]

...the couch, Sora? [Just waking up or not, what kind of suggestion is that D:?]

S'next to the fireplace.

[It makes sense on the half-awake level.]

[But Sora's trying to wake himself up now, 'cause a Kairi in the bed... is not something that happens every day.]

Why're you so cold?

[Here, have another blanket.]

Because it's windy outside...and it's early in the morning, like really early. The sun's barely up. [Burrowing under that blanket, snuggling closer, all that good stuff. She's not going to outright say things, she'll just slowly lead Sora to his own conclusions]

[Their apartment has thousands of them; it's too cold for the island kids.]

[But that does register as odd.]

Why're you going out so early if it's so cold?

[She just grins and burrows further. UGH WINTER.]

Because I wanted to deliver cookies before everybody got up. Figured they could all have a nice surprise when they woke up this morning.

[The entire apartment's UGH WINTER. TOO COLD.]

[And he grins at that.] You're gonna make people wonder where they came from this early.

I left a note with the cookies though, so it's not that bad. Everybody deserves to be happy whether they're dating someone or not.

Da- [And that's when it clicks, right there. She can see it, easily, because his eyes widen. Oh yeah. THAT WAS TODAY.]

I was gonna come wake you up later!

[She just laughs a little] Beat you to it.

[And he grins at that.] Yeah, you and your nose.

[He's reaching out to cover that nose and squish it~]

[Squirming a little to get away from the squishing] Hey, don't do that!

[Yeah, he's still grinning.] Hey, your nose is cold! It needs to warm up.

[Oh fine, maybe nuzzling her nose into his hand for warmth] You're so weird sometimes.

So're you. [Still grinning, Sora moves his hand and leans forward to kiss her briefly.] Happy Valentine's Day, Kairi.

[Just gonna kiss him back and snuggle closer] Happy Valentine's Day. [She pauses though and tilts her head] Were you really going to come wake me up later?

[Have a bit of a sheepish grin.] Yeah - Rydia told me about the experiment. And Roxas. I figured if I got to you first we'd get around it.

[Aw...that's cute in a weird way.] Well, I think this way worked out just as well.

[You did the exact same thing, Kairi. You're weird, too.] Uh-huh. ItWHOA hang on!

[And Sora's fighting his way out of the blankets and over to his dresser, tugging the top drawer open and starting to search for something.]

[She's weird because she hangs out with you, Sora.] Wha-[And suddenly there's a Sora out of bed! And she's...confused] Sora, what are you doing?

Just a second!

[A couple of socks go flying, but they don't matter. That spare pair of gloves that nearly hits her in the head might, though, but very soon after that there's a definite "ah-hah!" and Sora turns around - holding a folded piece of paper and a box.] Here we go!

[There's a definite squeak as she dodges those gloves, but she sits up and watches what Sora's doing again. She's suddenly very curious about that box and paper in his hands though]

Here we go?

Yeah.

[And he doesn't need to explain anymore, as he hands her the card as he gets back on the bed. He puts the box down for a moment so he can burrow back under the covers, though.]

[The card is covered in pen scribbles and various markers that are supposed to be drawings, but fail immensely, but are still cute just because of the earnestness. There's a paopu, and what seems to be a thalassa shell keychain, and two hands grasping each other. Or that's what they're supposed to be, at least. Inside he just wrote "Happy Valentine's Day" after a long time of trying to decide what to put and utterly failing.]

[She takes the card from him and looks it over, smiling because d'aww Sora why so precious. A for effort at least. She didn't expect anything beyond a "Happy Valentine's Day" inside the card; after all, that just wouldn't be Sora.]

Cute. [Have another kiss on the cheek for your efforts, Sora.] I love it. [But then she's distracted by the box again] ...what is it?

[This time the smile's a little - just a little - bashful, or sheepish. He's not sure how she'll like this, after all - it was kind of a leap.]

Uhh... I wasn't sure what else to get you, so... Here. Hope it's good.

[It's a small cardboard box, with another wooden box inside - a traditional music box (http://www.deanorgans.net/image/obj11geo11pg1p2.jpg), gears and everything. Not something she can put jewelry in, but when wound, plays a very soothing tune.] (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMSgTW7pvWk) ()

You didn't have to get me anything else...[But she takes the box and opens it, obviously a bit eager to see what it is. Once she pulls out the music box, she just stares at it for a moment before winding it up and letting it play.]

...wow. [That's it, she's just going to sit there with the box in her lap and letting the tune play out wtf Sora this is beautiful.]
