Twenty-Sixth Shower-[Voice]

Okay, so I have to ask. I know we've got this huge amount of traffic suddenly, but how many of you people here have suddenly started seeing doubles of yourself, or younger or older versions of yourselves?
meteorical: (do you trust me?)

[She's still really weirded out about talking to a boy claiming to be her son, but Kairi likes kids. She knows this is probably just as awkward for him.] What has Sora told you?

[identity profile] raindropsmash.livejournal.com 2009-12-20 04:04 am (UTC)(link)
Different worlds, keyblades, heartless, nobodies... you name it, Dad's probably turned it into a cheesy bedtime story.

To be honest, he probably shouldn't quit his day job.
meteorical: (aw you're cute)

[personal profile] meteorical 2009-12-20 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
[Snickering at that.] He's told me a lot of his stories too. But they're not that bad...[Not really...okay maybe some are a little corny but.]

[identity profile] raindropsmash.livejournal.com 2009-12-20 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
Not all of them, but you have to wonder about a couple. [okay, the laughter is contagious.]

Ari and I've poked fun at him for it before, but not much came out of it.
meteorical: (bubbly)

[personal profile] meteorical 2009-12-20 04:59 am (UTC)(link)
You said Ari was your sister, right? How old are you guys anyway?

[identity profile] raindropsmash.livejournal.com 2009-12-20 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
Ari's thirteen, I'm fifteen and a half... and Mariel's eighteen.
meteorical: (no way!)

[personal profile] meteorical 2009-12-20 05:15 am (UTC)(link)
Huh. That's...interesting.

[identity profile] raindropsmash.livejournal.com 2009-12-20 05:24 am (UTC)(link)
I guess? Pretty much all of Dad's friends from his world hopping days have kids.
meteorical: (cause I'm in too deep)

[personal profile] meteorical 2009-12-20 05:31 am (UTC)(link)
We must be a lot older then.

[identity profile] raindropsmash.livejournal.com 2009-12-20 05:38 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I think so, though neither Mom and Dad really look like it.
meteorical: (curious cat)

[personal profile] meteorical 2009-12-20 05:41 am (UTC)(link)
That's good to hear at least.

[identity profile] raindropsmash.livejournal.com 2009-12-20 06:01 am (UTC)(link)
Probably is. [Awkwaaaard. Changing subject is a-go!]

I mean... you and Dad don't do much world saving anymore, but I guess that's what us kids are for.
meteorical: (taste of her cherry chapstick)

[personal profile] meteorical 2009-12-20 06:06 am (UTC)(link)
The next generation of Keyblade bearers. Who knew?

[identity profile] raindropsmash.livejournal.com 2009-12-20 06:19 am (UTC)(link)
Now you know? I didn't exactly ask for it, but I guess genetics played a big role. [sounds slightly bitter about that.]

meteorical: (killing lights)

[personal profile] meteorical 2009-12-20 06:23 am (UTC)(link)
...is that a bad thing?

[identity profile] raindropsmash.livejournal.com 2009-12-20 06:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Sorta-kinda? I didn't ask for a keyblade.
meteorical: (oh really?)

[personal profile] meteorical 2009-12-20 07:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Well neither did Sora.

[identity profile] raindropsmash.livejournal.com 2009-12-20 10:23 pm (UTC)(link)
... He didn't? But Dad was always, "yay keyblade" in his stories and stuff.
meteorical: (giggle-fit)

[personal profile] meteorical 2009-12-20 10:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Well yeah, he learned to like it after the fact, but he didn't wake up one morning and just say, "you know, I think I'm going to grab a giant key and save the worlds today".

1/2

[identity profile] raindropsmash.livejournal.com 2009-12-21 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
Well I--you'd never know with Dad! He's so crazy. After rounds, he'd go off and visit Atlantica and bring back seaweed as if it were nothing. Or like, visit Agrabah and grab hummus and pita bread.

It's kinda ridiculous.

[identity profile] wandblade.livejournal.com 2009-12-21 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
Kierren! If you're gonna bore Mom, at least bore her to death with cooler stories. [... speak of the kid sister.]
meteorical: (kairi)

[personal profile] meteorical 2009-12-21 03:10 am (UTC)(link)
...well hi there.

[identity profile] wandblade.livejournal.com 2009-12-21 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
Hi Mom! Sorry my big brother's bad at telling stories. Hopefully he didn't get an awkward crush on you--

[there's a growl as Kier obviously mutters, "You didn't go there!"]

... Okay, so that's a plus. I'll go and drag him off to meet other people if he's been boring you.
meteorical: (kairi)

[personal profile] meteorical 2009-12-21 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
No, I don't mind. I think it's interesting to hear from both of you.

[identity profile] wandblade.livejournal.com 2009-12-21 06:28 am (UTC)(link)
[giggles] Really? Kier was always more of a momma's boy. You should see how red his face is right now~

Did you know magic too, Mom? 'Cause like, I'm a really good mage and Kier's just a swordsman who goes "rawr I totally defeated you with my powers of light!"

[For the record? Kier's reputation has officially been shot.]
