[Hey. How ya doing? Are you out in the village today? Then you might notice a certain redhead dressed a bit differently than her usual attire running through the village with a satchel at her side. She darts around a corner, hiding for a few minutes before peering around to make sure she's not being followed and she sneaks back out into the middle of the village square. She'll be wandering around, casually glancing for new places to hide and guarding that satchel.]

Welllll...looks like the brothers just couldn't keep up. [She'll pat her satchel, making sure her prize is still inside.] Guess that means I'll hold onto this for safe keeping.

This place just got a little busier, didn't it?

[Perfect for an attempt to blend in, in fact. So you may run into her as she's prowling the village, also making sure there aren't any wanted posters. Oh, and don't mind her trying to get her smolder on around you fine people. Who knows, maybe on her walk she'll accidentally run into a princess or three, or even the authorities.

Let's hope it's not the palace guards.]

Woke up like this. Fell asleep in it last night. But how'd you know about--[It's about then something clicks in Kairi's head that she's not really supposed to be a dashing rogue thief. And it's also about then that she realizes who's in front of her.

Man. She can't believe they got her. Oh well, she'll be resisting for as long as she can, don't mind her.]

You? It's your story I'm stuck in? Who are you? Do you know how many horses have been chasing me around the village today?

Whoa whoa whoa whoa, hey! Slow down, there! [ His hands are up in a placating gesture. But he seems to relax, now that it's clear she's not doing this voluntarily. ] The name's Flynn. Surprised you don't know that already. [ .... grin. ] And I'm going to guess, what, three? And that they were all called Maximus. But listen, that's not important. What is important is that for now? You're me. And that means you [ he jabs a finger at her ] ... have a job to do. And that job is called "maintaining Flynn's reputation and not making him look ridiculous."

[She just huffs a little.] I'm Kairi. Nice to meet you, I think. [She's still not too thrilled with this story because the horses man.] Something like that. One of them seemed to be able to fly though.

That's kind of a lame job. Besides, I have my own job to do and it involves this [She holds up her satchel, since Flynn seems to know] and keeping it to myself.

... funny, I don't remember Max being able to fly. [ Mental list of things to look out for: duly noted. One eyebrow goes sharply up at her dig. ] Hey, it's not lame! It's the greatest job ever. Besides, what's even in there? If it's a tiara, you know it's not worth anything here, so it's kind of pointless.

Well. She could fly, and she was blue with a rainbow-colored mane. [Shruuuug.] Sure, whatever. I don't care if it's not worth anything here...[Though that does take away a lot of her motive.] ...it's still mine though. I bet you're just trying to talk me out of it.

... thaaaat doesn't sound like Max to me. [ Definitely some other clowns getting in on the act, here. Still, he raises a brow. ] Seriously, what do you care? You're not me. And unless you're normally a thief? What's the big deal about a fake tiara that isn't worth anything anyway? [ Eyebrow arch. ]

Well she was crazy and chasing me with a sword, so I don't know what to tell you. [She just scoffs.] What makes you so sure it's fake anyway? I never said it was, just that it isn't worth anything.

[ ... ]

So what're you going to do wth it? Keep holding onto it until one of your crazy horses tries to take it again? For ... however long this lasts?

I would...but I'd also be smart enough not to get myself lit on fire in the first place. Moot point.
