[It's Christmas Eve, and though she may have gotten a late start, Kairi's no stranger to Christmas spirit. Maybe she was hoping Sora would come back before now, but without the appearance of her familiar brunette, the redhead has chosen to take things into her own hands.

Without any warning or real explanation, she's rounded up her three favorite victims to torture boys to talk to. Here's lookin' at you, Axel, Riku, and Jacob. More than likely Roxas was dragged in to be an elf. She's got the boys posed in the center of town in various states of holiday dress, and she herself in a Santa Clause dress and giant bag of small wrapped presents at her feet. She's shivering a bit, but that's not gonna stop her as she picks up the journal to make an announcement.]

Hey guys! Let's lighten the mood a little around here...it's Christmas, after all. Come down to the middle of the plaza, my elves and I have something for everybody.

[And then just for good measure? Yeah, Sora's "Santa does exist" sign is once again making an appearance and is staked into the ground in front of her group of misfits.]

[Luke had been heading back home after looking to see if he could give anything to his friends (and being largely unsuccessful) when he came across the sight. ... Well. Poor boys.

But Kairi in particular makes him stare a little longer, because she looks almost exactly like someone he knows. So that's...]

Huh? Oh, nothing... [He smiles sheepishly and waves his hand dismissively.] I was just wondering what's going on, that's all...

Huh. Not familiar with Christmas?

[Heh. Not surprising, given how many different worlds there are.]

Not really, no... I only found out about it a few weeks ago. I kind of wish we had it in my world! [He glances over all of them again - the red and white that Kairi's wearing seems to be a symbol of Christmas, but...] So what're you supposed to be? Some kind of Christmas... whatever?

Christmas elf. Trust me, if I had the choice, I wouldn't dress up at all.

Anyway, I can go grab something for you. We're handing out presents to just about everybody.

For me...? N-No, you don't have to! You should save those for everyone else! [Giving and receiving gifts like this is still so... foreign to him.]

Ah... Okay, I guess. [He leans forward a little bit. Maybe they've got some stuff in there Guy, Asch and Natalia might like? Because Luke isn't sure what to get them and he'd at least like an idea.]

[She does notice the staring though, and she tilts her head curiously. Sup Luke.]

[Sup Xion look-alike-I mean Kairi. Luke looks pretty curious himself, but he snaps out of it once she addresses him.]

Oh, hey... What's all this stuff?

[She vaguely recognizes Luke as "that kid Guy usually babysits", so she's not sure how to approach the situation of being stared at like that. Oh well. Maybe he's just from a place Christmas doesn't exist.]

Just a way of getting everybody into the holiday spirit. Presents for everybody, guaranteed to find something you like no matter what.

For that... Christmas thing, right? [She'd be correct about him being from a place where Christmas doesn't exist, at least. Luke leans forward a bit, interest taking over the curiosity.] What kind of things do you have?

[Secretly Kairi thinks it's adorable, the end.]

Right. Tis the season and all, at least where we're from. [She gestures to the crew behind her.] These guys helped out last year, too. [She smiles though and opens the bag a little more for him to see.] A little bit of everything. The best part about Christmas is the element of surprise.
